A new home for the Innovative Genomics Institute (IGI) and Bakar Labs is being developed to advance health and agricultural applications of genome editing technology and to provide space for startup companies.
Over the next decade, a series of projects will transform the campus heating, cooling and power systems, into an electrified and renewable energy microgrid that will largely eliminate fossil fuel combustion and related on-campus carbon emissions.
