Anchor House: Building Design

The Anchor House project team is composed of award-winning design firms.

Morris Adjmi Architects, formed in 1997, is based in New York City and has won over 25 design awards. Notable projects include the Wyeth Hotel and Theory building in New York and Atlantic Plumbing project in Washington DC.

Andrea Cochran Landscape Architects is based in San Francisco. The firm has received many industry accolades, including the prestigious American Society of Landscape Architects Design Medal and Smithsonian’s Cooper Hewitt National Design Award.

Brand/Bureau and AvroKO (New York City, Bangkok, San Francisco, and London) are award-wining global designers in the hospitality space. They have projects across 22 countries in 32 cities, launched over a dozen company owned-and-operated restaurants, and created a furniture and lighting company (Goodshop).

Prometheus Real Estate Group is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prometheus has donated its development and construction services pro bono, and the Helen Diller Foundation has funded the grant to build Anchor House, gifted to UC Berkeley in 2024.
